Bad Lands, South Dakota

May 2025…

The Bad Lands got its name from the first natives to cross this area…they said the land was bad to cross. Very little grows inside the Bad Lands. Out side the Bad Lands are grasslands where buffalo, prairie dogs and other animals live off of the land.
